Business Continuity
IASP's platform is built on the concept of redundancy in order to eliminate single points of failure. A client's data,
however, is the key to true business continuity. One of the concerns expressed in today's technological environment is
"Who owns the data?" IASP works with each company to ensure a level of service where control of data is not
an issue. Although outside of IASP standard services, backup services may be included and customized to meet a
company's needs, such as delivering a tape backup on a weekly basis to the company's headquarters.
IASP utilizes robotic library tape-handling devices to manage the day-to-day backup routines for IASP-owned data.
Clients interested in managed backup facilities can choose the level of service for their data.
For example, IASP could use a client's own hardware and software, and simply manage the tape rotation as defined by
the client. Another option would be for the client to use IASP's backup facilities, including the robotic physical
devices and Veritas NetBackup Data Center software.
